Man set to be charged after allegedly stealing fuel

JUSTIN Jubber, of Long Gully, was remandedfollowing an out-of-court sessions hearing overnight.

The 26-year-old will face the Bendigo Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.

SATURDAY:

A LONG Gully man who allegedly stole fuel from aBendigoservice station this morning is expectedto be charged with multiple offenses, police say.

Bendigo Police Sergeant Rosie Rowe said the 26-year-oldfilled up his vehicle at a service station on Marong Road about 7am.

She said police were called and the man attempted to drive erratically towards members.

He was arrested in Union Street shortly after and taken into custody, Sergeant Rowe said.

The man will appear in an out-of-court sessions hearing sometime later today.

Sergeant Rowe said charges may include theft, drug possession andconduct endangering life.

She said the man would also face traffic charges, including driving unlicensed and an unregistered vehicle.
